NASCAR

I am curious what people think here; is this actually a sport that deserves national attention, or as Jim Rome would say "neck-car is not actually a sport, but something for the white trash to have as amusement". I wouldn't go that far, but I wouldn't consider the drivers atheletes. I know it takes skill, but I have never understood the fascination with it. Questions? Comments?

Scouting Combine

Anyone interested in the scouting combines? The NFL Network, I feel does a good job covering the event, and although it does not give the definitive look of a how a player will do in the NFL, it gives prospects an opportunity to jump in the draft. I, for one, am looking forward to it this year.

NASCAR

I'm curious, is betting on racing such as NASCAR, a popular deal? I have never bet on racing, and even after watching the Daytona 500 today with a surprise winner (Newman), is it something betters do a good deal of? Would love some feedback from the the serious bettors.

Jason Kidd

If the Mavs actually trade for Kidd, will it strengthen Dallas for a playoff run? Curious what people here think. I feel Kidd still has the legs to lead a team, and is still one of the top 3 point guards in the lead. The Mavs always look strong on paper, but would this put them over the top?
