Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen may be the best trio we have seen in years and with only 6 losses in 38 games they are absolutely dominating the competition.

Do they have what it takes to represent the East in the Finals?

They will be tested in the playoffs and that's the time to prove if they are capable of being with the best. I think this year is sort of a feeling out period for them. Next year will be the time to go for it all.

True, I think if they can keep playing team basketball. I only see the Pistons as their real competition in the East, but they should be the favorite.

Only time will tell, always the indication of a great team like the Spurs for example, they are always the toughest to beat down the stretch.

That quality can only be developed in the playoffs. Sure, they will suffer some heartbreakers but in the end, it is always how you will be able to overcome adversities.

The Celtics, as of this point, are showing they are a tough team, they are still winning the majority of their games even with Garnett not playing. They are most certainly a team that is showing they are capable of winning the east, but are also showing they are definitely a NBA powerhouse that can win it all.

They're now in the NBA finals. Apparently Boston's a real deal.

Ok so since I am in the Celtics home town. Go Celtics!

Ok Ryno33 I now you are a die hard Lakers fan. Is there a possibility that Boston could pull this off?

Lisa

Yes. Boston could pull this off, if Doc Rivers properly uses the bench players and the big three (ray allen, kevin garnet, and paul pierce) show consistency. The Big Three look glamorous on paper. But they haven't been playing well together in the playoffs.

I think I Boston has a chance, not a good chance, but a chance. The Lakers are just too deep and are a much faster team. Plus, they have Kobe!!
