Bold statement I know, but it is hard to bet against a team that has only lost 6 games in 4 months. Pretty impressive considering the talented teams in the NBA this year. Kevin Garnett is definitely the reason for that with his rebounds, inside presence and scoring alongside Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. Who's better than the Celtics? -------------------- Dunk Now! Member Group: Members Posts: 22 Joined: 21-January 08 Member No.: 20	At this point, the Celtics is leading the pack but this cannot be used as a gauge as to their true strength. Yes, they are a force to be reckoned with but their true test will be in the playoffs. So far, they haven't shown any and yes Garnett is MVP material.

You have to be a very consistent player and you have to be a leader of your team, both which Kevin Garnett does, added to the fact that the Boston Celtics has the best record in the league.

Member Group: Members Posts: 22 Joined: 21-January 08 Member No.: 20	Given the value of a player to his team, then Chris Paul and Kobe are also to be considered. But it is the impact that he does that will be given more weight in my opinion. Much like Steve Nash has to his team.

I honestly think he doesn't care either, especially if the Celtics win the title. Team MVP, I would agree, NBA MVP, I don't think he is the strongest candidate.
